Pedestrian vs. Vehicle

The pedestrian is the sole sufferer when a vehicle strikes him, no matter whose fault it is. The crash can result in severe injuries including head, spine, limbs, back, neck muscle and bones. It may even result in permanent disability or death on the spot.

The sad thing is that, often the insurance companies try to place the blame on the pedestrian, stating that the cause of the accident was a sheer negligence from the pedestrian’s side. Thus, it becomes more strenuous to make the insurance companies pay compensation to the pedestrian, than to the person inside the vehicle, for the loss.
